Astana. March 16. Kazakhstan Today - The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, held the meeting with the chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Mevlut Chavushoglu, the agency reports.

M. Chavushoglu, during the meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, expressed hope for active participation of Kazakhstan in the work of the assembly."

The chairman of the assembly, during the visit, supported N. Nazarbayev's initiative to carry out the summit of the heads of the OSCE member states in Astana in 2010.
