President Kazakhstan arrived in Uzbekistan for official visit

Almaty. March 17. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, arrived for a two-day official visit in Uzbekistan, the agency reports citing official mass media.
The officials of Uzbekistan headed by the Prime Minister of the country, Shavkat Mirzieev, and the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, Boribay Zheksembin, met N. Nazarbayev at the airport Tashkent-2. According to the president's press service, the heads of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will hold meetings on Wednesday, March 17, in the first half of the day. After the meeting, the officials plan to sign about five bilateral documents. It is planned that in the second half of the day the President of Kazakhstan will lay flowers at the independence and humanism Monument and will visit Hazrati Imam complex and the mausoleum Tolebi in Tashkent. The diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were established on November 23, 1992. The main document in mutual relations is the Contract of Eternal Friendship and the Contract on Strengthening of Economic Cooperation. Goods turnover between the countries, as of 2009, has been $1 billion 196.3 million and has decreased in comparison with 2008 by 33.1 %.
