Astana. September 6. Kazakhstan Today - 1018 HIV-infected people have been registered in Kazakhstan in I half of 2010 as compared to 1094 carriers during the similar period of 2009, the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan informed.

According to the statistical data, in June of 2010, 155 HIV-infected people (in June, 2009 - 155) were registered in Kazakhstan.

According to the Republican sanitary station, in I half of 2010 in comparison with the corresponding period of the last year, the number of people with brucellosis reached 1020 (6.3 %) and echinococcus - 493 cases (0.6 %).
