Kazakhstan Today - Further development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the USA in the energy sphere will be discussed during a two-day working visit to Kazakhstan of the US Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy, Richard Morningstar. The official representative of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed today during the briefing in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agency reports.

"During the visit, the officials will hold bilateral meetings with the leadership of the country and the management of the National Company KazMunaiGas.

"The officials will discuss further development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the USA in the field of energy, including ways of transportation of oil and gas and development of alternative energy sources."
