Issues of developing public-private partnerships were discussed in the Senate

A meeting of the Council for Monitoring Public-Private Partnership Projects of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" was held in the Senate, chaired by Senator Bekbolat Orynbekov, press service of the Senate reports.

Opening the work of the Council, Senator Orynbekov noted that this platform was created to develop proposals on systemic issues of improving the PPP system, emphasizing that Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to develop a comprehensive plan in this direction.

The Council’s task is to help the state and business in resolving systemic issues that hinder the development of PPP in the country. We, as representatives of Parliament, are always ready to discuss them and contribute through legislative activity", - said Senator Bekbolat Orynbekov.


Thus, the Council participants discussed issues related to the new bill "On introducing amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on improving budget legislation and invalidating the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Concessions".

Summing up the results of the work, Senate Deputy Bekbolat Orynbekov noted that the Council participants will develop recommendations that will be sent to the NCE Atameken and interested government bodies.
