The domestic health care system is steadily developing. On the instructions of the Head of State, the National Project aimed at improving accessibility of medical care for rural residents is being implemented. Within the framework of the programme, medical stations and doctor's outpatient clinics are being built. This will improve the accessibility of quality medical care for the population," Deputy Prime Minister said.

Tamara Duisenova also stressed that today high-tech medical services are provided. Among them are unique heart surgeries performed at the National Cardio-Surgical Centre, which have already saved thousands of lives. This experience is being actively disseminated in the regions, which contributes to improving the level of medical care throughout the country.

Deputy Prime Minister paid special attention to the support of medical workers. In recent years, significant resources have been allocated to increase the salaries of health care workers, their social support and creation of comfortable working conditions. This year for the first time was established the honourable title "Honoured Doctor of Kazakhstan", which emphasises the importance of the medical profession for the state.
