Almaty. December 23. Kazakhstan Today - 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit Japanese Bonin islands on Thursday morning, the agency reports citing Vesti.ru.

7.4-magnitude quake was registered yesterday 146 kilometres (91 miles) east of Chichi-shima in Japan's remote Bonin islands region, after which a 60-centimetre (two-feet) wave was monitored 700 kilometres away at Hachijo-jima.
