Domodedovo airport bomb set off by a bookeeper from Ingushetia

A suiside bomber who blew up a bomb at the Domodedovo airport has been named, the agency reports.

Almaty. February 4. Kazakhstan Today - A suiside bomber who blew up a bomb at the Domodedovo airport has been named, the agency reports.

According to Lifenews, this was a 20-year-old Magomed Evloev from Ingushetia. Domodedovo bomber Investigators were only able to identify the suicide bomber from fingerprints and a DNA analysis of his remains.

Official representative of the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin neither confirms nor denies the information.

36 human lives are on Magomed Yevloyev's conscience. He was a student from Ingushetia who came under the influence of recruiters of the North Caucasus criminal underground.

As informed earlier, 36 people died and some 180 people were injured during Monday's blast at the airport's international arrivals hall.

The investigative committee said that the bombing was aimed "first and foremost" at foreign citizens.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev sacked several officials - said to include a regional transport chief and a Moscow police deputy head - after the bombing, blaming them for poor security.

Last March, Moscow's underground system was rocked by two female suicide bombers from Russia's volatile Dagestan region, who detonated their explosives on the busy metro system during rush hour, killing 40 people and injuring more than 80.
