New Zealand coast hit 5.2-magnitude earthquake

The New Zealand coast has been hit by 2.5-magnitude earthquake under the Richter scale, the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

Almaty. February 15. Kazakhstan Today - The New Zealand coast has been hit by 2.5-magnitude earthquake under the Richter scale, the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

According to the US National Geological Service, the earthquake's epicenter was in 645 kilometers to the northeast from the New Zealand city Oakland. The seismic centre was at the depth of 73 kilometers.

RBC informs, Iran in Likak's suburbs, which is located in Huzestan Province in the southwest of the country, has been hit by 4.2-magnitude earthquake under the Richter scale.
