According to the press service, "the bank tanker Roskem-1 under the flag of the Russian Federation ran aground on February 21, 2010 at 23.50 local time, around cape Urdyuk in the territorial waters in Kazakhstan."

The Ministry of Transport and Communications informed that "the ice breaker Captain Meytsak under the flag of the Russian Federation will arrive to render assistance to the tanker on February 24, 2010.
