Taiwan hit 5.4 magnitude earthquake

Taiwan has been struck by a 5.4-magnitude earthquake, the agency reports citing Xinhua.

Almaty. November 6. Kazakhstan Today - Taiwan has been struck by a 5.4-magnitude earthquake, the agency reports citing Xinhua.

According to the State Seismological Service of the Peoples Republic of China, a 5.4-magnitude earthquake occurred the day before at 19.34 Beijing time, District Nantou, Taiwan, at 23.9 degrees of northern width and 120.7 degrees of east longitude. The tremor hypocentre was at the depth of approximately 6 kilometres.
