There are no Kazakhstan citizens among passengers of the plane of the Ethiopian Airlines that crashed on Monday. The official representative of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Askar Abdrahmanov, informed at a weekly briefing in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agency reports.

"There are no Kazakhstan citizens onboard of the Ethiopian plane," A. Abdrahmanov said, answering journalists' questions.

The plane of the state-owned Ethiopian Airlines that had left the capital of Lebanon crashed into the sea right after taking off at the airport in Beirut.

There were 92 people aboard, flying to the capital of Ethiopia - Addis Ababa: 83 passengers and nine members of the crew. About 50 passengers - Lebanese and many other citizens of Ethiopia were onboard of the plane.
