The construction is going according to the plan. We will monitor its progress and fulfillment of deadlines, as this issue is extremely important for Astana residents during the winter period," Alikhan Smailov pointed out.

In general, the advantage of the new GTS is the small boilers, which allow economical consumption of natural gas. In addition to gas, they are also designed to work with diesel.

We have two gas boilers and a new CHPP plant being launched now. This will give the city about 1100 Gcal/h of heat already in the upcoming heating season, that is, we are going with a surplus. Next year it is also planned to realize additional gas boiler houses to ensure stable heat supply of the capital for the future," Alikhan Smailov said.
