Rocket Soyuz-U with cargo ship Progress-M placed on launch Baikonur complex

The space rocket Soyuz-U with the cargo ship Progress-M has been placed on a launch complex of the cosmodrome Baikonur, the agency reports citing Russian Space Department press service.

Almaty. July 22. Kazakhstan Today - The space rocket Soyuz-U with the cargo ship Progress-M has been placed on a launch complex of the cosmodrome Baikonur, the agency reports citing Russian Space Department press service.

According to the press service, this morning, space rocket Soyuz-U with the cargo ship Progress-M was transported to the launch complex of the platform №1 at the cosmodrome Baikonur.

The space rocket Soyuz-U with the cargo ship Progress М-67 will be launched from the platform №1 of the cosmodrome on July 24, 2009 at 16.56 Astana time.

Progress М-67 will deliver to the International Space Station 2.5 tons of cargo: fuel to the station, the resource and scientific equipment, water and gases. The space ship will also deliver cargoes to NASA station.
