Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bibigul Zheksenbay met with the staff of the city polyclinic No. 8 in the capital. During the meeting, the senator was told about the plans for the development of the medical institution, press service of the Senate reports.
Also, the doctors raised a number of problematic issues regarding the affordable housing program, the increase in the number of vacation days for medical workers, health insurance and rising prices for medicines.
Bibigul Zheksenbay noted that all the issues raised will be under the control of parliamentarians and spoke about the legislative activities of the chamber in the field of improving the social situation of the population.
We have recently adopted a new Social Code. This is a big step in improving the country's social policy. The new social policy is one of the large-scale changes announced by the Head of State. Among the innovations are the availability of a new digital card in each family, the introduction of new approaches in the field of employment and the improvement of the system of special social services. This will positively affect both the lives of our fellow citizens and the employees of the sphere," the senator noted.
