Senator Sultanbek Makezhanov met with the chairmen of the permanent commissions of the Maslikhat of Almaty

Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sultanbek Makezhanov visited the literary and memorial house-museum named after Mukhtar Auezov, where he met with the chairmen of the standing committees of the Maslikhat of Almaty and the leadership of the Institute of Literature and Art named after Mukhtra Auezov, press service of the Senate reports.

During the meeting, one of the main topics of discussion was the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, set at the opening of the first session of the Parliament of the VIII convocation in March of this year.

In his speech the President focused on 8 main priorities of the state and shared his vision of the further work of the Parliament. In particular, the Head of State called for stimulating business activity, unlocking the country's industrial potential, reviewing approaches to infrastructure development, paying special attention to ensuring food security, improving the quality of human capital, supporting socially vulnerable categories of citizens, strengthening the human rights protection system, improving the efficiency of public administration and quality of strategic planning," Sultanbek Makezhanov said.


Furthermore, the participants of the meeting discussed topical problems of financing and increasing the circulation of published domestic books, the purchase of specialized equipment for the proper storage and archiving of historical manuscripts.

At the same time, the deputies of the city's maslikhat raised the issues of special economic and industrial zones, dense urban development, production and sale of domestic products.

At the end of the meeting, the senator spoke about the forthcoming legislative work of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, aimed at further socio-economic development of the country and increasing the income of the population.
