In the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan an excursion for students and schoolchildren took place. The guests were young people from Kyrgyzstan studying in Astana, press service of the Senate reports.
The participants of the tour visited the hall of international meetings, where the Chairman of the Chamber holds meetings with foreign colleagues. They also examined the exhibits of the exhibition, which presents gifts from foreign delegations to the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan and got acquainted with the materials of the electronic museum of the Chamber, which provides information about current and former senators, as well as video materials from the very first meetings of the Chamber.
In addition, the students visited the plenary hall, where they were told in detail about the activities of the Senate, the nuances of legislative activity, and were also informed about the activities of the Committees of the Chamber.
