During the phone talk, the sides also exchanged views on the current situation in Afghanistan. The heads of state reiterated their interest in further close coordination of efforts and approaches in bilateral and multilateral format.

During the meeting, the implementation progress of Kazakh-Russian cooperation programs for the preservation and restoration of ecosystems in the basins of the Ural and Irtysh transboundary rivers was discussed.

All expenses for the staff accommodation, office rent and other costs will be fully funded from the UN budget.
