Following the talks it was decided to hold the regular sitting of the Supreme Council in Kazakhstan in May this year. The Eurasian Business Forum is expected to take place as part of the sitting.

Recall that yesterday the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov arrived in Nur-Sultan on a state visit. Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov in narrow and expanded format. The heads of the two states made a Joint Statement.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Bagdat Mussin.

According to the decree, Yerbolat Sembayev has been named the new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of Kazakhstan to Italy. Bulat Sugurbayev is now the new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of Kazakhstan to Malaysia.

The meeting was attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Australia Marat Kalizhanov and Honorary Consuls Andrew Fernyhough (Melbourne) and Jason Stirbinskis (Perth).

During the conversation, they also supported the proposal to continue joint work in the energy sector, taking into account current trends and challenges in international markets.

In this regard, Kazakhstan reaffirms its adherence to the principles of the Astana Process.
